Project Duration is 5-6 Months

Purpose of the role:
Accomplishing Internal Corrosion Monitoring project objectives by planning activities; evaluating implementation and progress of the project, including delivering on the financial performance as per budget.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage and provide technical leadership to a multi-cultural team of about people, including engineers, and field monitoring, analytical laboratory and support staff 
Maintain and improve annual project plan and execute the service according to the plan
Establish a communication schedule and attend meetings with the client to update internal and external stakeholders on the progress of the project
Review the quality of the work completed with the project team to ensure timely delivery of the reports as per annual plan
Supervise project related activities such as HSE and other project needs with the ICM designated responsible person
Review, approve reports and provide recommendations for appropriate and effective remedial work, with the support of project team.
Be knowledgeable of equipment and techniques and their proper application to measure the internal corrosion rates. Advise and apply new technologies for assessing internal corrosion 
Ensure continued development of project staff
Foster and manage productive relationships with executive level sponsors

Competency requirements:
Strong project management skills 
Fluent in both spoken and written English
Understanding or willingness to adapt to the Middle East business culture is a plus
Excellent inter-personal skills, conflict resolution and negotiation
Ability to encourage open communication across project teams
Ability to secure cooperation and commitment from others
Flexible, self-motivated and positive attitude
Innovative approach to planning and problem solving
Technical / Professional Expertise and Qualifications Required:
Good knowledge of oil and gas internal corrosion mechanisms and internal corrosion control 
Academic degree qualified in an engineering discipline 
Accreditation or relevant qualifications by National Association of Corrosion (NACE) or equivalent 
Minimum years relevant experience, with proven project management
Experience of working with large international projects in the Oil & Gas Industry .
