Roles and Responsibility

Carry out the duties of a Fire Control Room Assistant

Remain in contact with the Fire Fighters at the incident scene using various radio systems. 

Quickly and efficiently implement requests for resources, specialised equipment or additional information in support of the Incident Commander the incident.

Deal with many varied types of incidents such as aircraft and structural, road traffic accidents, chemical and fuel spillages and many other emergency situations. 

Work within a team, relay information and instructions accurately

Act as a central link between Air Traffic Control, Operations, fire stations, crews, officers and other members of the Fire and Rescue Service

Maintaining comprehensive data relating to incidents
