JOB DESCRIPTION :

Job Profile:
  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
  • Summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements according to schedule.
  • Produce payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product. Complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors.
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups and protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Producing error-free accounting reports and to present their results.
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
  • Manage accounting assistants or analysts.
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
  • Provide input into department’s goal setting process.
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
  • knowledge of Tally, TDS Provision, stock accounting and Balance Sheets
